Problem with Listen To Learn Music app Hi, That has never happened to me, but you may want to restart your device, or just delete then reinstall the app. It may also be because your device might not have the latest updates. Replies: 1 Views: 12349 About 2 months ago, this app stopped working for me. When I try to log into it it says 'Internal Error'. Has anyone else experience this issue ? I have an iOS device.

Why are some of the pgs only in teacher book and not in OM book? Nevermind, I found them. I just wasn't looking hard enough. I found them though. Thank you. Replies: 1 Views: 5761 Some things are only in the teacher's book. Could you add things like taans aalaps etc to the OM Book?

Higher Notes Practice aroha avaroha from sa to taar pa and back. The laya should be quite fast. Even a touch and go of note pa is fine in the beginning. Soon within a week's time the taar pa will start sounding clearly. Assumed you do not have physical inability Replies: 2 Views: 11099 I am practicing Tarana in Raag durga, HV 103. I have chosen C# as my scale from the beginning. In this Tarana Bandish, we have to hit upper Ma and upper Pa in Antara. I am having real difficulties in achieving this. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Patterning and recognizing patterns in songs Hi, I'm in Hv 102 right now and here are some tips: Tell your daughter to sing the bandish( prathamana) in aakar. Using that, sing the swar sadhana aroha and avaroha. Pra from prathamana begins with higher sa.To find this out, sing only pra. It's high. And that pitch matches the aakar of the note higher sa,using this technique I did this. This will help you... good luck, Aditi Jagtap :) Replies: 1 Views: 9388 My daughter is enrolled for the HV101 course. She is making patterns and is learning the pentatonic scale. However is there a resource available somewhere where we can identify which patterns are used in the songs that are formed with pentatonic and other patterns? None of us are educated in music, so it is hard for us to understand the theory and link the patterns to the actual sound and tune of the song in that pattern. Can someone point us to a resource we can use for learning to relate the patterns learnt to songs. So as an example, how do I identify what patterns are used in the song, "Prathamana mana gananayaka charana". Thank you for your help.
Warm up/ Daily Riyaaz i want guidance on daily riyaz to improve and strengthen my voice for singing. Replies: 1 Views: 10319 While I would love to take a full course, I am unable to based on budget and time. For some of the English self study vocal courses available, they provide daily warmup exercises. I would love to have this available. Some inflections and styles require open throat, head voice etc which can be achieved with some good tips availble in the english training to reduce strain, breaking of voice during high notes etc
Riyaaz Sorry I'd meant to add this threads to the Hindi Movie Songs..but nevertheless applicable. I was quite impressed by one of the staff members who called my from India (I live in Canada) to discuss my post and she promised to take my suggestion to her team. I really appreciate such enthusiasm. Thank you. I await its implementation. Replies: 1 Views: 9942 Since, as per the instructors, it is important that we can adjust our riyaaz to a comfortable range...during riyaaz, there is no feature to adjust pitch up or down...so we can sing and record in our range rather than current piano
how to upload recording. Hi, to upload a recording first you sing it on om riyaaz in ombook, then save it.When it says it's saved,go back to recordings and you notice it says not sumbitted. You click that, and there is a green button that says sumbit click that and if you want to share with the community click share with community too,you can do both,if you want. Regards, Aditi Jagtap :) Replies: 2 Views: 10372 How to upload recording.

Problem in downloading recorded classes It would take just 10-15 mins to download the class recording if you have a broadband with minimum 2 mbps of speed. If you are unable to play the recording after downloading, please download webex .arf player from this link: http://www.webex.com/play-webex-recording.html Support@SMA Replies: 3 Views: 16549 Hello, Many a times there is need to check out recorded classes, when i we miss it or to listen again. Its very important facility given but unfortunately it is not downloadable at all .It takes 2 hrs or even more to get atleast 15 to 20 mins classes to download I am sure that every one might be facing this problem. I have already requested support team to do something about it.but they say it will take time..I hope there might be some solution to it like breaking the video into smaller chunks and then downloading etc.... |
